Two people were electrocuted to death and five others were injured after a private bus caught fire upon coming into contact with a hanging electricity wire in the Manoharpur area on Tuesday, police said.
The bus, which was carrying labourers, was travelling on an internal kaccha (unpaved) road near a village when it touched a live wire. The vehicle caught fire soon after, said Superintendent of Police (Jaipur Rural) Rashi Dogra Dudi.
The blaze was later brought under control, officials added. The injured have been shifted to SMS Hospital for treatment.
