Israel said on Saturday that it was reportedly preparing for a possibly long war against Iran as its military struck an Iranian nuclear facility in Isfahan overnight, reports news agency The Associated Press. The report also mentions that the attack led to the killing of three senior commanders of Tehran.
The deputy governor for security affairs of Isfahan, Akbar Salehi, confirmed that the Israeli strikes damaged the nuclear research facility but clarified that there were no casualties.
