The attack unfolded when a suicide attacker rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a convoy of Pakistani military personnel in the North Waziristan district.
India issued a strong-worded rejection late Saturday after Pakistan’s military accused it of orchestrating a deadly suicide bombing in the restive region of North Waziristan. The blast, which tore through a Pakistani military convoy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, resulted in significant casualties and has further strained bilateral relations.
"We have seen an official statement by the Pakistan Army seeking to blame India for the attack in Waziristan on June 28,” the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a statement.
