A bus with 25-30 passengers plunged into the Alaknanda River in Uttarakhand after breaking through guardrails. The accident happened around 8 AM while en route to Badrinath.
A bus carrying around 18-20 passengers fell into the Alaknanda river in Uttarakhand's Gholtir area. The incident occurred around 8 AM. The bus was going from Rudraprayag towards Badrinath. Some of the passengers were rescued, but several are still missing. The concern for the missing passenger is high as the Alaknanda is overflowing due to heavy rain in the state.
SDRF and NDRF teams are on the spot and rescue operations are underway.
