Two dead and twelve are injured after a portion of a bridge over the Indrayani River in Pune collapsed on Sunday evening. The bridge, which connects two sides of the Kundmala area, collapsed while several tourists were standing on it. Being a weekend, a large number of visitors were present at the site. Preliminary reports suggest that 20 to 25 people may have drowned, although the exact number is yet to be confirmed. The incident reportedly took place around 3:30 PM. A total of 32 people have been rescued.
