Houthis Threaten To Target US Warships In Red Sea If Trump Backs Israel Against Iran

Yemen's Houthi rebels, backed by Iran, threatened to attack US ships in the Red Sea if the US joins Israel in military action against Iran.

Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen have threatened to resume the attacks on US vessels and the warships in the Red Sea if the US President Donald Trump-led administration joins Israel’s military against Iran. According to news agency AP, the threat from Iran on Saturday came in a prerecorded video statement by the Houthi military spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree.

"In the event of the American involvement in the attack and aggression against Iran with the Israeli enemy, the armed forces will target its ships and warships in the Red Sea," Saree said as quoted by news agency AP.
