KKR Vs CSK: The Cricket Association of Bengal have reportedly received a bomb threat mail, concerning the ongoing IPL 2025 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings at the Eden Gardens on Wednesday, May 7.
In wake of the mail sent by an unknown user, the security has now been tightened for the ongoing fixture. The mail was detected by the official email of CAB, and the police is now looking into the matter.
Here's what Ajinkya Rahane said after winning the toss:
"We will look to bat first. Looks a very good wicket. We have seen here the wickets are on the drier side. But this looks a good wicket. In the last two games, we batted first and did really well. We will look to put a good total on the board and defend it."
"The chat is taking one game at a time and not look too far ahead. Not looking too much at the future. Lots of learnings from the previous game. The guys are looking forward to this game."
"In this format, you are bound to lose close games. The last few games were good for us. Batting and bowling and fielding wise, we have improved a lot. If there is a chance to give your best to the team, you have to do it."
"Just one change. Venkatesh lyer misses out. He has got stitches on his hand and Manish Pandey comes in place of him. The rest of the team remains the same."
